Reading Eighth Shepherd was neither exciting nor boring. The story was well-written and moved along at a good pace. We, the readers, spend a lot of time in the company of Shimona and Zachai in Jericho-- and our hearts go out to them as they struggle with their predicaments. Knowing how the story ends also helps keep up hope, I must say!
The only thing I found a little annoying was this: A couple of characters serve as the authors' mouthpieces: they understand everything Yeshua says, they perceive the thoughts and intents of those around them, and they explain it all to us. To me, they came across as know-it-alls. Maybe I need to lighten up.
Bottom line: definitely worth a read! ( )

-Psalm 15- This book is dedicated with much love to our dear friends and Good Shepherds in London, Rod and Julie Anderson!
You stand in the gap to pray for us and for the nations. In such a time as this the Lord has raised you both up. You have blessed our lives and our ministry more than words can express.
