Follows The Lively Lady's New England captain through his fighting in the War of 1812 and his subsequent imprisonment. Some people bestowed with power are responsible and kind while others are monsters. I'm a sucker for a sailor.
Another tale of a young America, this time at war with their cousins, the English. A story of American Privateers in the War Of 1812, and the notorious Dartmoor Prison where many were imprisoned and some died. The protagonist is the son of the hero of the two books on the Revolutionary War, Steven Nason and he is cut from the same cloth as his father.
Read in 2008 More of the historic account of the American Revolution by KR. By this time, the reader has fallen in love with the characters and admire their grit and belief in the Cause that the book is hard to put down. Phoebe is quite a lady. For anyone who enjoys reading American Historical Novels. Read it!
