Description

Coordinating the publicity tour for Italy's most famous--and most adorable--chef was just the kind of assignment Juliet relished. Carlo Franconi could gather a crowd just by smiling, and watching him prepare a meal was like witnessing a lesson in passionate lovemaking. By the time the tour was over, Juliet planned to have Carlo packaged as the world's sexiest chef. Women everywhere would fantasize about him preparing an intimate meal for two.

But Juliet hadn't counted on being part of the show more dinner plans. Candlelight, pasta and romance...Carlo distracted her with his charms, setting his romantic recipes simmering in her heart.

Lessons Learned is a simple romance between book publicist, Juliet Trent, and cookbook author, Carlo Franconi. When Franconi comes to the United States for a book tour, the attraction begins. Franconi views sex with typical Italian flair causing Trent to shy away.

This book is a quick evening read, much like a chic flick. If you are looking for something quietly charming, romantic, and fun, this is a good choice.
He's a chef with a new book and he's doing a book tour of the US. She's his publicist. He's a ladies man and she's married to her job. When they meet they're attracted, but she doesn't want to have an affair with him, her feelings for him were deeper than that, but if all he wanted was a roll in the hay she wasn't interested.
An enjoyable Nora Roberts book.

Good not great. Fairly typical contemporary romance.
I liked this one better than book 1 in this series. Although still a little bit 'movie of the weekiish' you still liked the characters. A fun read.
