This book wraps up the Final Friends trilogy with a bang—and a few tears. As graduation approaches, secrets are exposed, friendships are tested, and the truth behind the mysterious events finally comes out. My students love the drama, twists, and the raw emotion packed into this series. It’s a little soap opera, a little mystery, and a lot of “I need to know what happens next!” Perfect for readers who love intense high school stories with just enough danger.
I liked the last book in the"Final Friends" series. This book was a continuation of the prior two "Final Friends". The same characters (Michael, Bubba, Bill, The Rock, Nick, Russ, Kats, Polly, Jessie, Sara, Claire, and Marie) are now at the end of their senior year and are getting ready for graduation. The book picks up a day or so before the graduation and the graduation party, which is an overnight on a boat. The end of the book has a lot of action as the killer is identified and the boat has a hole blown in it. The last portion of the book really gets engaging and I could not put the book down. The conclusion was complicated. I was close to figuring the killer, but a twist at the end landed me close but not complete. The writing is show more good but it is geared for young adult/juvenile literature. show less
The best of the series.
And the pharmacy scene was as funny as the pharmacy scene in The Golden girls - hilarious mixed in with the darkness in this one.
