This made for a good "summer reading" mystery. I enjoyed the North Carolina setting (which included the mountains in this installment of the series), and the main character's love interest in this second in the series seems more realistic.

I'd probably give this one a 3.5, given the chance, but liked it well enough to round up instead of down this morning. (
