This cartoon book is just hilarious. Weller has a first-rate sense of humor and an ability to draw laughable illustrations that seems to me to be what Mad magazine aspired to at the best of times. It's the cleverest book of its kind that I can think of.
For anyone of the generation who grew up on endless 'How and Why' books, this is hilarious. For those of a later period, it's still pretty funny. Recommended for the part on how to combine human evolution and genesis.

Most of this humour is not hugely funny, but there are two or three pages that still have the power to make me laugh out loud.
