children find them self going through many emotions dealing with their parents divorce ( )

(non fiction, easy) This book follows the life of two small boys who are experiencing living as children in a divorced family. The questions the boys present to their mother and father are of a simplistic nature and address the very basic concerns that young children may ask themselves when mommy and daddy are divorced or divorcing. The end of the book leaves the reader with the understanding or feeling that even though mommy and daddy are not together anymore, that everything will work out alright and that mommy and daddy do not love them any less. A good follow up conversation to have with your listeners would be to take a survey as to whose parents are divorced and whose are not. You could also talk about some of the questions a child may have when living in a broken family or questions of curiousity a child may have coming from a home that is not shattered by divorce. Mainly, the conversation, like the book ,should make any child who is in this situation realize that it is more common than not. ( )
