Fallout is a decent enough story about domestic terrorists and their reaction to an America that is becoming increasingly interconnected to the rest of the world. After an attempt to destroy the power generators at the Hoover Dam, investigators discover that the militia group Eagles Claw has something sinister planned in the next few days. The story follows the investigation of this terrorist plot and its connection to a murdered Russian who is inspecting America’s nuclear disarmament. The fast paced action of this story is only overshadowed by its predictability. The only revelation that the end of the book had for me was the reasoning behind Eagles Claw’s actions, the rest of the plot could be deduced a mile away. ( )
