A clear and comprehensive guide to the fundamental principles and practices of energy conservation in house construction, including renovation and remodeling. The book gets you well on your way to "house as a system" thinking, a necessity for all of us involved in creating buildings as the sub-systems of a house become more dependent on one another. Krigger and Dorsi's book is admired even by Joe Lstiburek who does not hand out praise casually. Lstiburek's books may be most valuable if you are building a new house. Krigger and Dorsi's, even according to Lstiburek, are the best for remodeling and renovation. ( )
