This book is a fun little adventure for the kids at Bailey School. Their temp secretary is a gremlin who manages to foul up all kinds of technology at school. They try to overwhelm the magic of her charms by bring in good luck charms. Eventually they over power her. All is well and still not a lot of literary value. It might be a fun book to engage a student for a couple of days through silent reading and perhaps even inspire a reluctant reader though.
A silly series that creates more questions than it answers. It's great for formulating theories as well as predictions. The class dynamics should be very familiar to those of the Magic School Bus generation.
The substitute school teacher does all sorts of weird things with electricity, and appliances blow whenever she walks by. Is she a gremlin?
This was a pretty silly and cute book.
