Sometimes (usually when we're up around 2:30 a.m. Haha!), I get frustrated with my toddler. So, I got this book, thinking it would help me change my way of thinking so I wouldn't feel this way. But, it wasn't really that type of book. Half-angry-mom-memoir, half spiritual self-help, I found it interesting (hence the three stars), but not really helpful to me. It was a bit heavy handed on the religious aspect a lot of the "helpful tips" seemed like common sense. However, I did think the author did a good job of explaining the different levels of anger and of making the reader feel like they aren't alone and they are normal. Could be helpful to the right person but I'm sure there are better books out there related to this subject. ( )

A great book for first time moms--or even second or more! This books brings humor to the everyday issues and situations that often lead to frustrations and anger. A great lift for mom's dealing with exhaustion, hormones, and anxiety a new baby often brings.
