This book is about a boy called Zack. His uncle Jim from Florida sent Zack a present in the mail. It turned out to be an alligator key chain. Zack got very excited, so he immediately ran to the bathroom sink and filled it with water. The alligator started to get so big that Zack had no choice but to put Bridget in the bathtub. Bridget was the alligator's name. She followed Zack everywhere he went. She was getting out of hand because she was having too much fun. In the end, Bridget became small again. I think that this book is an excellent book for children. It is exciting to read and full of humor.
Zack's Alligator is such a cute book for elementary school readers! Kids love that it is about an alligator and there is a lot of humor and imagination that goes along with the book. It is about a little boy named Zack, who receives a letter in the mail from his Uncle Jim and in the letter there is a present of a key chain alligator. Little does Zack know that the key chain alligator turns into a real life alligator when he waters it. Zack and the alligator have a eventful day with tons of humor! Definitely recommended!
I used to love this book as a child, it is full of imagination and excitement!
Zack gets a alligator keychain in the mail from his uncle that instructs him to get it wet. When Zack puts the alligator in water it begins to grow and come to life, and they begin their adventures together. Kids love to imagine that their toys are alive and their friends. This book can help spark that imagination and let them have their own adventure with a toy.
A boy named Zack gets an alligator key chain from his uncle in the Everglades with a note that says to water it. Zack does just that and the alligator (whose name is Bridget) begins to grow and grow. After she reaches full alligator size she gets Zack to feed her Meat Loaf Surprise and take her for a walk. While they are out Bridget attacks a hose, bites a mail truck's tire, plays at the playground and rides a merry-go-round. Then she starts shrinking till she's key chain size again asking Zack to water her again tomorrow.

I loved this book when I when I was small and I think it's still a great picture book. It is also a Library of Congress Children’s Books award winner.
This is a classic book that I loved as a kid. Zack receives a present from his uncle Jim, who lives in Florida. The present is a key chain with a note that said Water Bridget. So, Zack put Bridget in the sink and watered it. This alligator, Bridget, grows to be so big that she cant fit into the sing, so Zack places her in the tub. She grew even larger. Then Zack’s mom came discovers what was going on. Zack and Bridget go do fun things, like watch tv, go to th park..etc. When Bridget began to cause problems, Zack gives her water so that she will shrink up. She turned back into the key chain. This book is such a well illustrated book that never gets old.
When Bridget the alligator arrives in the mail, she's only the size of a key chain! But after Zack soaks her in water, she grows into a real live alligator. Bridget wrestles the garden hose and swings from the monkey bars. And what other alligator can do cartwheels?
Zack gets a toy alligator, Bridget, who grows into a real alligator when watered. Zack takes Bridget out on an adventure and finds that she is quite hard to take care of. She dries out and shrinks back to toy size just as Zack’s dad asks to see her. Zack promises to water her in the morning.
