This is a book about the word family -at. This book contains multiple words with the rime -at and also is part of a series of word family books. These books can be used to teach onset, rime, and word families. ( )

This book is great for beginner readers and introduces phonics. It is a very easy to read book that incorporates rhymes so that it almost flows like a song. ( )

A cute book for beginning readers. Apparently, this series is designed to teach phonetics systematically (or some such thing). My son learned to read very easily, though, so I didn't pay too much attention to any sort of "system." (Or maybe these books did such a good job, I didn't have to worry about it). ;) ( )
