Kipper is confronted with the unfortunate problem of having a basket that just isn't comfortable to sleep in anymore. He searches for other places to sleep but in the end finds out that his basket is the best place. Just as children are starting to outgrow everything Kipper is too and this book can help teach children that sometimes the things one thinks he or she is too old for is exactly what they need.
I chose to read "Kipper" because I remember reading this book as a young child and liked it. It is a book about a dog whose trying to find the most comfortable place to sleep. It shows young children that older things are okay not to give up if you aren't ready yet.
We like this one. The smelly blanket is a good excuse to say "oh poo!".
This book is about a puppy named Kipper who isn't happy with his basket. He cleans it out but not it just isn't comfortable. He goes out to search for a place that is comfortable, but nothing is like his basket.
Rated "Indifferent" in our old book database by Rod; rated "Good" by Adelia.
