Bold designs for sweaters, jackets, skirts, cardigans and a shawl catering specifically for the larger woman, are also suitable for men, pregnant women and all those who prefer a loose, unstructured look. Almost 20 years before Big Girl Knits, Dawn French told BBWs that they could wear knits and be sexy as hell! She was right. Cardigans, v-neck tops, knit coats and even skirts. I still love the designs in this book, and I still wear my wrap sweater. ( )

Some great shapes & graphics. The Fish sweaters are just fun but the Chili & Border Cardis are wonderful. The chapter on Winter Warmers is really great but the Moss Stitch Blazer is the one most useful, snuggly & wonderful jacket you will ever own!! I knit it in Raspberry acrylic the first time. I'm knitting it again in the same Raspberry but in Wool this time. My second most favorite sweater is in the Everyday Casual chapter, the Nashville - a cotton shirt-tail sweater that's amazing. I keep thingking about it in hemp!! OMG. ( )
