This volume consists of black and white photographs from the extensive collection at the Kinsey Institute. They cover a wide range of 19th and 20th century erotica, including homemade memorabilia, mass-(re)produced pornography, advertisements, and art photography. The selections depict a range of emotions and personalities that is a major part of the appeal of the book; it is in this sense that I think the title "Peek" is especially appropriate. I also enjoy the many vintage photos reproduced in the book.
A must-have.
