I love these books with frightening intensity and wish I could go and live in the little house with these two dear little pigs.
In my opinion this book is very good! I think it's a very fun and adventurous book for children to read. The language used is very clear but also detailed! The writing seems to flow and make sense as the author tells the story. The characters are best friends who are pigs. One loves to travel and one loves staying at home and being a "home body." The point of view constantly flips back between the 2 different perspectives of the pigs. It's great because it allows children to understand how a conversation works and also shows the reader each character's perspective. For example, on one page it states, "I wonder if it will snow all night? said Puddle. "I hope it does, so we get to go sledding" said Toot." The illustrations also add to the show more book greatly! They are very colorful and realistic. show less
