Adventure story with the usual OTT plot, where Tweed and his team get involved in and out of difficult to believe situations. Easy going writing style but Forbes does repeat himself regularly, which can be tiresome. In saying that if you want to relax with an undemanding book there is enough mystery to keep it interesting.

I did not like this book. The characters seemed fake, the storyline just went on and on, the ending was disapointing. I don't think I'll ever be tempted to read another book by this author!
Main character is Tweed, could easily be Steed from the Avengers, Not Bad
