Das Buch erzählt die Geschichte von der ersten ununterbrochenen Umsegelung der Welt im Ballon. Das ist ein spannendes Unternehmen, das schon mehrfach in Angriff genommen wurde, aber bisher nur den Autoren des Buches geglückt ist.
Als Roman ist mir das Buch eigentlich (sorry) zu langweilig gewesen - mir wäre ein Bildband lieber gewesen. Ich habe die informierenden Seiten (Anhang, Bilder im Mittelteil) lieber gelesen als das Buch selber.
