Very good book for people who have personal/professional relationship problem and feel they are getting used. Language is very simple, and it is very easy to read. It is full of practical advise to identify and deal with manipulation in their life. In just over 200 pages one can understand susceptibility to manipulation, identifying manipulation, understanding the process, and transforming oneself into hard-target. Worth reading multiple times to make lasting change and to avoid relapsing into old behavior.
A recommended book even if someone is not dealing with manipulator... advance preparation just in case they are yet to meet one.
PS: If dealing with sociopaths, then simply run and don't waste time reading. On second thoughts, show more life-threatening sociopaths are quite few, so maybe one can read and try things out before bolting. show less
