When Mildred the cat goes missing, the private eye club does their best to find her.

Content consideration: there's a lot of arguing and "yelling", which is often the youngest character crying.
This is a solid level 2 reading book. I found the art compelling and craft. I don't think the kids' names play well today--this was written in 1978, presumably before political correctness. Two of Snitch's older brother's friends are named Skinny and Tubby and their body shapes match up.
Ok slightly dated, but still a great I can read book - especially for boys. Snitch loses his cat Mildred and the boys try to find her.
