Thunderhoof is a wild horse who doesn't want to be ridden or taken to a ranch, but when the land runs out of water, he may need a little help. This book has easy repetition that children love. Good for teaching that it's okay to tame yourself and ask for help sometimes. (

Another great Syd Hoff book. Thunderhoof the horse discovers where he wants to be and what he wants to do in this colorfully illustrated book.
