Loading... Battle cruisers: The design and development of British and German battlecruisers of the First World War era (Warship special)by N. J. M. Campbell
None No current Talk conversations about this book. ![]() ![]() This work is essential for anyone wanting to see the battlecruisers of WWI examined and compared objectively and to see their careers outlined too. Campbell lists all action damage in details almost never seen in far larger works. This includes the ships lost, with details of the last known state, estimates of what happened and details of the repairs and alterations. This is not a large book, but it has line drawings of each class and photos too. There are details of the last planned German ships, copies of the Renown and Courageous types that are seldom mentioned anywhere else. Well worth having for anyone with an interest in the battlecruiser type and their actions in WWI. no reviews | add a review
