This book started off with a lot of promise. Maerose was a strong woman, who fought for herself and had her own beliefs, but it quickly spiraled down from there. She becomes completely subservient to Bron and blindly follows whatever he says. Terrible, terrible, terrible. The worst part is that it isn't Maerose that can save the world; it's her body. That's a good lesson to teach young girls. ( )
