A look at military hazing. A soldier dies and an investigator is sent to determine the cause. A typical story of noble righteousness against obstructive bad guys. Well written, but predictable. Made into a major motion picture. ( )

Aaron Sorkin is a master of contemporary American playwriting, as well as writing for the big and small screens, and A Few Good Men is his arguably his best work in any medium. It is a fine example of drama, wit, and moral ambiguity. The only thing standing in between this script and a five star rating is the unfortunate number of typographical errors in the Samuel French edition. ( )
