Urso Brunov, the Little Father of All Bears, must come to the rescue of two polar bear cubs that have become lost and hunted by wolves. Along the way, the brave, tiny Urso escorts the cubs back to their home with help from other various animals of the Arctic.

This book teaches children that size is not is not important. Even the smallest of people, like Urso Brunov, can make a big difference in someone’s life. This helps boost the students’ self-esteem and confidence in achieving their goals. It also presents a slightly accurate depiction of the wild life and terrain of Antarctica.
