Counting to Christmas

This book showed what a girl does to get ready for Christmas. I loved that she prepared different crafts to give to the animals. What I loved about this book that on Christmas Eve when the girl was asleep, you could see Santa in her window, children would love that.

I gave this book three stars because it might not be ideal to read a Christmas book in the classroom since all children and their might have different beliefs. This is still a great book because it gives children ideas of things that they can do while waiting on Christmas day. The books also goes through the numbers 1-25. This book can be used in the classroom to help children with there numbers and it also has great activities in the book of the book for children to do.

A little girl is counting down the days to Christmas throughout the book. She counts from 1-25 doing different activities every few days before Christmas. The book not only gives ideas on what to do while waiting and anticipating about Christmas, but it also allows the reader to count starting from the number 1 and ending with 25. Though this is not a book I would probably read to my class during about Christmas, it is still a good book to have in the classroom during the holidays. The illustrations are clear and colorful.

In this book, a little girl counts down the days until Christmas giving an activity to do while anticipating and waiting for Christmas day. I like it because it has some good activities and it helps kids count up to twenty five. Other than that, it was eh. I wasn't crazy about it and it's not something I would really care to share. There are more fun and exciting activities that you can find.
