I liked this book for a few basic reasons. The language was clear, explaining how the frog caught the fly, but it was not very interesting. The character, frog, was believable because it was a basic topic and plot, having the frog look for his meal, which was a fly. The illustrations were very appropriate for the mood and also for the story, explaining how the frog sat quietly, waiting for the fly to land. The illustrations also explained a lot about the story, which I believe allowed the reader, as myself, to have more interest. The big idea of the story truly leads to the frog eating the fly for lunch, which is the typical story told about frogs.
