An excellent book written by the well respected John Stott. This book focuses on Jesus: how the New testament witnesses to him, how the church has presented him and how he has inspired people eg William Wilberforce. A fascinating book but probably one suited to the student rather than just casual readers.
In diesem Buch geht John Stott sehr tiefgründig auf den Kreuzestod Christi ein. Er macht auf anspruchsvolle und dennoch verständliche Art klar, welch großartige Bedeutung das Kreuz hat. Hochinteressant geht Stott auf sämtliche Fragen zu diesem Thema ein.

John R. W. Stott (1921-2011) has been known worldwide as a preacher, evangelist, and communicator of Scripture. For many years he served as rector of All Souls Church in London, where he carried out an effective urban pastoral ministry.
