Another gem from my childhood, borrowed from my sister. Loved reading these little poems! So much fun. So much entertaiment. ( )

One of the funniest books I ever read as a boy in school, Our teacher bought a stack of them and gave them to the kids in class as gifts. Here's an example "By The sewer I Lived, by the sewer I died, They thought it was murder, but it was sewercide". for a 4th grader just learning puns I giggled for months with my friends over these little quips. 4th graders today should be so lucky to have such humor and wit so well done that to this day I remember them. I haven't actually owned the book in over 50 years and still it holds a place in my heart of growing up in gentler days where good grammar and humor were mixed. ( )

I love this book. Too bad I've never ONCE used any of the lovely verses in yearbooks despite the many I have accumulated over the years. ( )

My older sister had this book. It's full of funny rhymes and sayings to write in people's autograph books. I still recall a few in my mind, like "Can't think, brain dumb, inspiration won't come..."
