Description
While Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, Linus, and the rest of the Peanuts gang have enjoyed the kind of success most cartoon characters can only dream about--becoming pop culture icons of the highest order and entering the global consciousness practically as family members--Robert Short's "The Gospel According to Peanuts" also has found a place in the hearts of many readers, with sales now totaling more than ten million copies. This anniversary edition features a new cover, a new interior show more design, and a new foreword by Martin E. Marty. Whether coming to the book for the first time or taking a second look, a delightful experience awaits in this modern-day guide to the Christian faith, fully illustrated with Peanuts. show lessTags

This is a basic guide to the ethics of Christianity, and quite useful. the cartoons are entertaining, and the matter well adapted to the needs of the standard American.
Interesting book on Christian theology based on Peanuts comic strip situations. Also read the sequel : The Parables of Peanuts. Really interesting.
Great connect here between the spiritual and the lighthearted.
Beware of Robert L. Short's book because he is not preaching the true gospel. He is an universalism. That is not the true gospel. I do love Peanuts as the comics strip, but I don't like Robert L. Short's books.
Read this in high school. Don't remember much about it. I didn't keep it so I think I thought it was "just okay".
