From the title, you'd think Eeyore is finally going to go postal, but nah, he's just sulky because Tigger bounced him. So he wanders around the Hundred Acre Wood looking for colors? Because that will cheer him up? All conflict is resolved when Pooh brokers a peace deal.

This is one of those books in our Pooh collection that I have probably read only once before, because it is so meh. I tried to spice it up while reading it aloud this time with some swear words and inappropriate remarks, but it's too dull even for that to fix it.

On the plus side it is nice to see Eeyore in the spotlight, and Josie Yee's art is very nice. Also, it's a rare chance for me trot out my Gopher impression as he actually shows up and talks for several pages. All too frequently with our Pooh collection, he's "not in the book."

(My Pooh Project: I love Winnie the Pooh, and so does my wife. Having a daughter gave us a chance to indoctrinate her into the cult by buying and reading her every Pooh book we came across. How many is that? I’m going to count them this year by reading and reviewing one every day and seeing which month I finally run out. Track my progress here:
