Awesome book for kids and one that would hold up quite well to this day. A young enigmatic teenager is given a mysterious Japanese prototype game that when played sucks you into the game and has you shooting 'demons'. with a gun that is powered by hate. When the bridges between the two worlds start to crumble and the demons from the game start appearing in the real world Andrew and his three friends, who are also playing, must learn to conquer their hatred and give up their guns if they are ever to make it out.

Very exciting and imaginative and despite the stress and fear this game causes at the end when they finish the game they are offered the chance to play the sequel....which they immediately decide they might want to do!

Good for show more teenage boys and girls show less
Book review

Hello as you should probably know by know my name is Dylan for those who didn’t you do now hi 8I I’m doing my book report on a book called “SPACE DEMONS” and the author is Gillian Rubenstein. This book is also fiction and takes place in a suburban house and computer, the characters are Andrew, Ben, Robert, Darren and Marjorie. The main characters would have to be Andrew, Ben. There alright but Andrew is a bit bossy.

The start of the story begins with Andrew and Ben playing computer games at Andrews house but Ben goes home before tea a bit latter Andrews father Robert comes home from a work meeting in Japan and the first thing he does is give Andrew a present it a computer toy from Japan Andrew ran up stairs.

Then show more entered his room turns on his computer inserts the disc and starts playing but he gets stuck on the same thing until he times it right and passed the goal and keeps playing but heres where the space demons come into the story and start zapping him with their guns ZAPPP!! But then the point and time clicked together the space man was now him it was no longer the control in his hand it was a gun.

Instead of the computer screen it was the real deal he was in the game the only problem was there was no way out but forward but if he was killed it was actually the real deal he would die and no one new where he was but then Ben came over and started playing the game zap but lucky for them Darren was spying on them and got every one they were out in a hurry and agreed never to do that again
