A young American girl living in present-day Tokyo. meets Keiko, a young Japanese girl and her brother Kenji. Together they explore the city and its surroundings. Along the way they learn about each other's customs and language. The book has lovely colourful pictures with simple one sentence text per page with labels in Japanese and English on various cultural features in the pictures.
