This book is a very beginner level introduction of the water cycle. What I like about this book is that it is easily accessible to young children with simple language and enticing pictures that feature cute characters, and it also has factual information about various water cycle concepts and explanations. It defines different uses of water and bodies of water as well. I would use this book as a read aloud to begin teaching students about the water cycle. This book would be a good way to show more point out different things that the students see regarding the water cycle and the concepts within the book, such as rain, faucets, and clouds. show less
Definately for discussion rather than pure learning, as this book is very broad in presenting the facts. However, the illustrations are cute, there is a guide for teachers/parents in the back, and could lead to some interesting physics questions from the younger readers.
