( ) "Live and Yearn" is the final book in author Kelley St.John's 'sexth sense' series. This Harlequin Blaze series is about a family of mediums who help recently deceased spirits address the issues keeping them from 'crossing over'. After Katrina damaged their plantation home, the family has been worried that if they lose their home, they will also lose their link to the spirit world. This final book in the series finally tells us what's up with Nanette, the eldest medium, and Charles Roussel, her arch nemesis and head of the group who will determine whether or not she and her family will keep their beloved home. I found this book a worthy ending to this series. We've gotten hints of a past involving Nanette and Charles throughout the series and now we get the whole story. I don't want to give it away, but I will say that Nanette has to deal with her attraction to Charles and Charles discovers that there may not always be a 'later' to fix things/situations he's created. Very original and very sexy!! no reviews | add a review

Charles Roussel knows he can hardly expect Nanette Vicknair to greet him with open arms. After all, not only did he abandon her twelve years ago, but now he's the reason her home is in jeopardy. Still, he desperately wants to fix things for her, for them. Then a car accident flings Charles into a nether world, neither alive nor dead. And he's not finding it so bad.... Especially when he discovers he can visit Nan's bed every night and seduce her in her sleep. Nanette might have been able to withstand Charles's sexual assaults in the flesh, but when he infiltrates her dreams, she's powerless to resist. She wants Charles. She's always wanted Charles. But can Nan bring him back before it's too late? And considering how mind-blowing their sex life has been recently, is she even sure she wants to? No library descriptions found. |
