This is a charming book of children’s poetry organized by season. The poetry and illustrations were developed together and depict lovely scenes of human life and childhood experiences. The pictures are colorful and full of life and fill the whole page, making this an excellent “first book of poems” and perfect gift volume.
This is a wonderful book to add to any collection, each school and home should have it as this is full of rhymes that are very lovely to hear them. This have the most beautiful illustrations, there are very pleased for children.

Book of poems about being outside in all 4 seasons. Quintessential seasonal descriptions, green flowery spring, hot summer, reddish fall, snowy winter. Would not work in San Diego where the two seasons are wet and dry. Ages 5-8
A book about different places we can go out. it is very discriptive about different places like hill, seaside, in feasts and then describes things like wet, water, sunshine. all in the form of poems.
