Ahhh Llewellyn.

I'm still not sure what to make of this book, despite having had it now for 8 years. Could it be because astrology isn't really my thing? Or could it be because I don't really connect to any of the Celtic myths? Who knows.

The book itself is interesting, especially from an astrological perspective. It adds a lot of information to a more 'western' reading, and the thirteenth starsign, and the symbolism of each starsign in general is rich and varied.

Whether or not the ancient Celts did have an astrological system - this 'new' way of interpreting Celtic mythology, folklore, deities, icons and symbolism is valuable, and gives us insight into ourselves and our own paths.

I have a feeling that someone with a lot of experience show more in astrology or Celtic myth could get a lot more out of this book than I did. I feel it has more potential than what I discovered. show less

Another book to add to an astrology collection, this time using ogham and tree symbols to examine signs. This is more like finding out your moon sign than anything, since each sign is based on which moon you were born under.
A bit of fun, not sure how seriously to take it.
