The Guest

The Guest is a story about a moose who finds a snail while she is playing scales on her piano. The snail tells her that he has been on a journey from France and that he ahs been lonely, so Mona (the moose) invites Maurice (the snail) to be her guest. The two eat together, work together, and often play hide and seek. They enjoy each others' company and friendship. One day, Maurice suddenly goes missing and Mona becomes depressed. After a while, Mona plays her scales again and Maurice comes back, this time with a whole family of snails!

This is a great book about a snail named Maurice and a moose named Mona. They meet and become best friends. They keep each other company, play together and help one another. That whole day Mona spent making french toast for her new friends.
