This book is appropriate for young children when being introduced the world of Bats. It covers the basic information of a bat, including anatomy, survival instincts and habitat. The book is laid out in an interesting manor with colorful pictures to keep a young elementary student interested. The book receives 5 out of 5 because it covers the basics of a bat that is easy to understand for the young child and will create a desire for further exploration.
