Solid classic children's book. Some books age well, others don't, this is definitely in the former category. Almost hard to believe this book is over 50 years old now.
I loved this book. I think that manners are a lost art and since everyone is in a hurry all the time, people forget the simple things in life, such as please and thank you. This book gave many examples and situations of when to use a proper manner, along with nicely done illustrations. Highly recommended!
Only Richard Scarry could be this didactic and entertaining at the same time.
This book was cute but it did not directly keep my attention. It would be a good book to use with younger students to discuss the topics manners in the classroom and at home.
This contains stories about more than just saying Please and Thank You. It's about being polite, kind and considerate, and to obey rules. And since it is a Richard Scarry book with all the favorite Richard Scarry characters, it is one of our girls' favorites already.
Great book to teach manners to children. Shows how to be polite in many situations and in every day life. Cute little book for children.
This book is loaded up with all the inns and outs of polite behavior. It talks about how to behave politely in a variety of situations, gives safety tips, and warns about things that are obnoxious.
