Sophie's dream is to become a professional figure skater. The book displays the hard work Sophie puts into the sport. We see that she has practice at 5 am five days a week and afternoon practices as well. On top of those practices she also goes to ballet to help her become more flexible in skating. I love how the books goes through vital information about skating like the anatomy of the skate itself, how to properly tie the skate, and even the clothes one wears when skating. I do feel like the book was missing something though. ( )
