As a fan of this series, I was happy to have found this gem being that I currently reside in Florida. Cool stories and interesting history/legends. My only gripe is the stories from people in these books that get annoying. They are very vague and most of them say well I seen this but not sure if it happened. I rather read the author's stories than real people's stories in this case. Will I check out some of the places mentioned in the book? Absolutely! and I will condinue to read the series.
Most of this book was interesting, but there were a few parts that I only scanned over because they weren't quite as interesting to me. This book discusses a variety of "weird" places to visit and strange legends in Florida. It would be an interesting book to read for a person who plans to travel throughout the state of Florida. I live near the Florida state line and actually recognized a couple of places that I am familiar with in this book, which made those parts especially interesting to me. The town of Two Egg, FL that is mentioned is actually only about an hour away from my home.
