Wow, wow, wow! This book is an account of 8 different women and their journeys through life and faith in God. The suffering, perseverance, and faith that they had during it all is incredible- both encouraging and convicting. I really enjoyed reading it (though it is sad to think that it is a reality and evil really is that evil) and would recommend it to anyone.
Eight women from eight very different backgrounds. Yet the struggles they each faced rang with eerie similarity. These courageous women from across the globe shared similar experiences of hardship, subjugation, and persecution, all because of their faith in Christ. Yet all of these women have emerged from adversity as leaders and heroines.

I like this collection of stories. There were times that I got a little lost or confused about the details, but the main message remained powerful.
This book is heartbreaking and heartwarming all rolled in to one. It brings to light what can be taken for granted very easily.
Very interesting and heart touching stories of women who have lived their lives for Christ. They show true grace and love in their service to the Lord. They are the best in all of us and are willing to pay the price for their faith. Very inspiring for the rest of us.
Voice of the Martyrs, brings yo true stories of courageous women, heroins of the faith, who are representatives of countless women facing similar situations around the world. These are role models of faith and passion that will inspire you to pursue Christ with heart aflame, no matter what the cost.
Follows the stories of eight women from such nations as Pakistan, India, and China who have participated in underground worship and experienced persecution and hardship as a result of their Christian beliefs.

Spent eight days reading 1 story each. It's all my heart could handle. We take for granted what was given to us freely in our constitution for our freedom of religion. One story bibles are so rare and illegal they're are copied by hand. Heart wrenching to read but absolutely worth it. Especially in today's day and age.
