Well written for a series. The characters are fascinating in their depth. Nice investigation of moral ambiguity for pre-teens.
It is no surprise that some of the best writing out there these days are to be found in the children's section! Artemis Fowl is a truly unique character in the fairy tale genre. It is worth a read for anybody with an imagination and a love of great writing!
