Not liking Wallace Stevens is more an admission of personal failure than a comment on the book. I really wanted to like these poems, but instead I found myself admiring their craft without ever really being moved by the poem as a whole. This cheap edition from Dover is a nice way to sample more Stevens' poems than are usually put in an anthology, but not get over-whelmed in complete editions.
