Cabins and cottages (Home repair and improvement)

Time Life Books and its parent corporation hardly need any help from me, but honesty and gratitude compel to say that this is a great book. It's not just so much agitated wind when I say that one can follw the simple, well-illustrated insrnstructions in this book, and emerge a couple of weeks later with a fine, solid, serviceable home, far nicer, even in its simplicity, than the homes of 95% of the world'd population. I know: my partner and I did it in twenty-three days, mostly without power-tools. If one could, unlike many LTers, avoid the accumulation of STUFF , and likewise, unlike most of the world's population, avoid the accumulation of children, one would be living in great comfort, with room for collections, projects, and guests.
