Elizabeth is a dedicated, workaholic doctor who is much to busy to have a life. One night, she gets into a terrible car accident and dies. She becomes a spirit stuck between heaven and earth. She doesn't realize that she is dead and thinks nothing has happened. That is until she meets David, a lonely architect, who has rented her old apartment. Enjoyable rom-com with a difference. Mark Ruffalo is David, a depressed and lonely landscape architect looking for a flat to rent. Reese Witherspoon is Elizabeth, an overworked doctor... and then appears as a disembodied spirit whom only David can see.
Cleverly written, excellent chemistry, a good pace and some fast action as well as light humour. Very enjoyable; PG due to lack of anything explicit, but the subject matter really isn't appropriate for children.
Definitely recommended.

A lonely man's sublet apartment is haunted by a woman.
I didn't expect this to be good, but I thought it would be a corny bad, or a messy bad. I never would have imagined a movie with such a promising premise could be this completely devoid of anything at all interesting.

This is a great movie; it doesn't matter if you've read the book or not because the two are on equal grounding. Looking for a dramatic romantic comedy that isn't filled with Hollywood cliches? Your search is over, now go watch.
