Description

Naruto and the gang return home after a stint protecting Shibuki, the leader of Takigakure. But there's danger back in the Village Hidden in the Leaves. Sasuke and Sakura are quickly captured and the tow-headed ninja-wannabe finds himself in a desperate situation. Turning to Shibuki for help, Naruto discovers the revered leader is actually a coward and false hero. Author/artist Masashi Kishimoto was born in 1974 in rural Okayama Prefecture, Japan. After spending time in art college, he won the Hop Step Award for new manga artists with his manga Karakuri (Mechanism).
