Description

With great gentleness, sensitivity, and support, Andrew Murray describes the necessity of obedience, its enabling means, and its benefits. 'The Father in heaven asks, and requires, and actually expects, that every child of His yield Him whole-hearted and entire obedience, day by day, and all the day. To enable His child to do this, He has made a most abundant and altogether sufficient provision in the promise of the New Covenant, and in the gift of His Son and Spirit.' The School of show more Obedience is a pastoral encouragement that exudes tender humility, warmth, and a magnanimous spirit. show less

Great book on obedience. As with Humility, The True Vine, etc., Murray is always simple and to the point, and always reminds you how much you depend on God.

Confidence in surrender...
The secret to true obedience--trust...
Final chapter on the Great Commission...

I have read many of his books and my favorite so far is The Blood of the Cross.
Basic, practical steps toward a life in line with the Will of God!
